Our name reflects this philosophy - doing things “your way” - alongside our Yorkshire roots and values of integrity, empathy, and straight talking expertise.
The idea for Yorway evolved from years of professional insight combined with powerful personal experience. We witnessed how workplace difficulties and unresolved tensions can escalate into significant conflict, often at great emotional and organisational cost. What became clear was that many of these situations were not inevitable - they reflected gaps in communication, psychological understanding, and proactive support.
This understanding shaped our vision.
We noticed the same pattern repeatedly - individuals struggling silently with their mental health, and organisations responding to challenges only once they had escalated. Yorway was built to bridge that gap, offering responsive support when difficulties arise alongside proactive strategies that help people and teams stay well, connected, and effective.
Drawing on combined experience across HM Armed Forces, the National Security sector, and NHS psychological services, our founders have built a practical, psychologically informed approach to meaningful and sustainable change.
Our work combines psychotherapy, mediation, and conflict coaching, delivering proactive services such as team health insights, group learning workshops, and ongoing organisational support.
Because lasting change doesn’t come from one-size-fits-all solutions - it comes from true understanding and finding a way forward that fits.

I’m Mia, a BABCP-accredited psychotherapist. I have over a decade of experience in NHS psychological services, working therapeutically with people facing a wide range of mental health difficulties.
My approach is collaborative, safe and thoughtful, giving space to listen deeply and work at your own pace to make sense of experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Alongside therapy, I'm passionate about workplace wellbeing and helping teams thrive. Using psychologically informed approaches, I work with organisations to strengthen communication, build self-awareness and create environments where people feel supported, perform well and both individuals and organisations flourish.

Hello, I'm William - with over 12 years of experience within HM Forces and the National Security sector, I’ve operated in environments where clear communication and conflict resolution aren't just "nice to haves" - they’re critical to operational success.
As a trained mediator and conflict coach, I facilitate conversations between individuals and teams to create understanding and agree mutually acceptable outcomes. I believe high performance begins when individual needs and interests align with organisational goals and values.
I work with clients to solve problems, developing tools and techniques to provide indicators & warnings and offer data-driven insights for long-term measurable success.
